Contracts and invoices are built from reusable templates. The scope paragraph you rewrite for every project, the payment terms you always forget to include, the line items that never change — set once and reuse, with per-document edits when a client actually needs something different.
Signed and paid without an account
Every document can be shared as a secure link. The client opens it, reads it, signs the contract or pays the invoice — no signup, no password reset, no PDF attachment being forwarded to the wrong person. Payments run through Stripe and the invoice status updates itself.
Status you can see at a glance
Invoices move through draft, sent, viewed, partially paid, paid and overdue, and the workspace totals outstanding against paid. Viewed is the useful one: it separates "the client has not paid" from "the client has not looked at it", which are two very different follow-up emails.
Contracts & Invoices questions
- Does Beemud support e-signatures on contracts?
- Yes. Contracts can be built from templates and signed electronically through a secure share link. The client does not need a Beemud account to sign.
- Can clients pay invoices online?
- Yes. Invoices can be paid through Stripe from the shared invoice link, and the invoice status updates automatically to partially paid or paid.
- Is invoicing included on the free plan?
- Yes. Proposals, contracts, e-signature and invoicing are included on every plan including the free SOLO plan. Standard Stripe processing fees still apply to payments you collect.
